Sometimes called living wall, a green wall is a wall that is partially or completely covered with vegetation.
They can be either free-standing or part of a building.
Although the concept stems back to the Gardens of Babylon, our love of green walls was inspired by Patrick Blanc, who installed one at the Museum of Science and Industry, Paris in 1998.
